The Housing Consultant, Eddie Muhlenberg, returns to the Parade of Homes™ to once again beautifully illustrate his unique approach to homebuilding. According to Muhlenberg, "We focus on helping our homebuyers get what they want. The custom building process is very fragmented and our homebuyers cannot be expected to be experts in every construction field, therefore, we provide the personalized consulting which enables our customers to make sound informed decisions. Basically, we are our homebuyers' one-stop-shop."

In a thoughtfully planned process, The Housing Consultant walks its homebuyers through a 10-step process, guiding them from initial budgeting to the final walk-through and acceptance of the home. Muhlenberg, a licensed real estate broker, helps buyers put all pieces of the puzzle together without them having to go to a number of different people to get the job done. "We realize that our customers have demanding lives," says Muhlenberg, "and our approach saves them both time and money."

The Housing Consultant offers its customers a library of more than 25,000 designs from which to choose, as well as the in-house capability to custom-design a perfect dream home.

Muhlenberg always strives to stay on the leading edge of the industry. An example of a new trend can be seen in this Parade of Homes™ entry; it has been designed for the way people actually live. This one-story European-inspired Parade™ home has been designed with the active professional/executive family in mind.

Created to be in harmony with the natural, wooded surroundings of the home site, this four-bedroom, five-bath, three-living-area home offers a refuge from today's stressful living with its private water garden and roomy screened porch, both of which are immediately visible through the curved wall frameless window visible as one enters the receiving parlor.

Dramatically combining the ultimate in traditional detailing with high-tech amenities, this gracious home's open plan, dining, kitchen and living provide the ideal spot for quality family time. Privacy also is accommodated, for the secondary bedrooms, each with its own private bath, are located in a separate wing, far removed from the master suite.

It's Roman tub/shower combination is truly captivating with curved glass block walls, twin rain shower heads, body sprays and a hand-wash shower. The creative use of glass block and mirrors accentuate the exercise area, while separate his and her vanities and closets complete the sumptuous retreat.

The kitchen boasts an open design created to facilitate both a quick snack at the breakfast bar or a gourmet dinner for the serious chef. Silestone solid surface countertops, likened to granite in both beauty and style, grace the culinary center. Take special note of the beautiful custom hand-painted tile in the backsplashes! Top-of-the-line Viking stainless steel appliances complete this gourmet's dream.

The media room boasts something very much out of the ordinary: a unique folding glass wall graces two sides of the room, allowing the area to be opened to the screened porch and the family room, depending on the occasion and the season.

The spacious screened porch functions as a room for entertaining or a spot for private enjoyment. Accessible from the master suite as well as from the media/family room, it boasts a summer kitchen (with built-in stainless steel gas barbecue and sink), a luxurious six-person spa and a bold stucco fireplace.

Flexibility has been built into the home by the addition of an air-conditioned garage, separate from the oversized, two-car garage; it's a spot that is ideal for the hobbyist or craft enthusiast. With its own bath, it could also be used as a game room or separate maid's quarters. The "knockout" universally designed powder room is also accessible from the outside.
